It
was a very busy week, therefore only time
for 1 update but surely with many pictures!
The past few days in a nutshell: the pups
concluded their second propolis-treatment
under the deworming programme and
also get chrushed pumpkin granules added
to their meals every once in a while. This
weekend they will have the fecal
testing and
then we will know if/how they should be
dewormed. Furthermore I trimmed some of
the coat on their feet and the tails (and
meanwhile clipped their nails once more).
All this went well, they were so good
again! Also they now have dryfood added to
their menu. I was expecting to maybe find
them somewhat confused after only having
eaten fresh meat up to now, but no
- they were feasting on it straight away,
even the first time. They now still have
the dryfood soaked, but by the time they
go to their new owners they will be able
to eat them in the normal, crispy
structure.
On Saturday we took the pups to the woods
for the first time, and how they enjoyed
themselves! Again no signs of stress, not
in the car nor out in that new big world.
They just loved it and made to most of
their début outing!
Wednesday was completely marked by the
Puppytesting. It was a long, tiresome day
for everybody but it was great fun! Ten
happy, skittish puppies who with great
enthusiasm and sometimes also with a large
dose of humor showed their tricks to the
testers. Naturally
there were some stubborn strunts too occasionally,
which befits a true Golden Retriever :-).
But we also saw a great deal of will to
please, which is so characteristic
of this beautiful breed. And a big desire to retrieve, the rabit skin
and the duck wing were picked up with loads
of pleasure and sometimes even already
nicely handed over to the tester. Really
very nice, they truly are fantastic little
doggies and I am very pleased with their
wonderful testresults! Below some pictures
of that test and ofcourse of the previous
days too.
