Week 4-5
March 1, 2013
The puppies are almost 5 weeks old... For the future owners the time undoubtedly can't go fast enough, but I am glad I still have so many more days left to enjoy this delightful gang ;-). The pups are now on three meals a day (raw meat and dryfood) and they sustain it extremely well. And they love eating it!! All look very healthy with beautiful coats already. Furthermore they play a lot and chase each other through the pen which is possible since they have moved to a bigger residence last Saturday. Also the house training has started and again I notice how clever such young puppies can be. Only a few hours after the litter box was placed, the first pup used it already so that was quite brilliant!
Yesterday the temperature was good enough to let the puppies have their garden debut; another event that went very well. A bit impressed at first - which is only normal - but within mere minutes they started exploring this new world and played. With each other, with the new toys AND with their mummy ;-).

Day 34: in the garden with granny Yacime and mummy Venice!
They like it big time and are not at all afraid
A lot of new ways to fool around with your brothers and sisters ;-)

Male 'black' with the tennis-ball
Handsome boy 'green'
What a super mummy!
She is wonderful with her kids in every possible way!
Enjoying & observing

Ofcourse they were tired after this happening (pictured here is female 'mint')

Having a nice lazy stretch: male 'grey'
Female 'purple' awake again and playing hide-and-seek
Male 'blue' and female 'red' trying to get some attention!

Day 32: female 'mint' challenges the little blue ball and makes a play bow ;-)

A knot of puppies!
The sisters 'pink' and 'purple'
Day 31: the puppies finish all their food and mummy Venice really thinks that's a pity ;-)
The tunnel is still a populair attribute! (female 'mint' and male 'grey')
Male 'green', the darkest male in the litter
Female 'red', one of the blond girls
The raw meat is now given in separate bowls (pictured here are male 'black' and female 'purple')

Day 30: mummy amid her lovely offspring!
The most adorable male 'blue'
Day 29: very much her mother's expression!
Female 'purple' looks very unhappy :-)
How may are there?
Day 28: the pups really like their new home!
The mini-basket is very much appreciated too: dozing in it here is female 'mint'
Or a brother or sister to lie on/against, also very common!
Female 'pink' sleeping in the tunnel
You can either use the litter box as a chair and bite some fingers while you at it (male 'green'), or you can use it for the reason it was put there - male 'black' being such a clever boy!
