Departure...
March 29, 2013
Almost a week has gone by since the puppies left for their new homes... The house is quiet, logically, but daily receiving only goods news from the puppy owners clearly this makes the departure of my little treasures much easier to cope with. And ofcourse Dyonne (female 'red') is still here and she will never ever go away :-). We already love her all to bits and she's such a welcome addition to the Rocksett-family!!
Below I placed some last pictures of this wonderful T-litter; it's been a great pleasure to share 8 weeks of my life with this sweet little bunch. They've behaved so good and have been such a joy to have around. I will miss them greatly, eventhough I know they're all in good hands now...
I would like to take the opportunity to express my appreciation to everyone who addressed me during this litter period, in any possible way! It's been of big value, thank you all so much. A very special word goes out to my dear sister Irene who stood by me every single step of the way! Also a big hand of applause for my two wonderful 'puppysitters', Lisette and Alexandra: things clearly wouldn't have gone so smoothly if it wasn't for them!! Furthermore I would like to thank the puppy owners for their trust and their patience: I know it's been a long ride, waiting for the litter to be born, for the first opportunity to visit the pups, for the weeks to follow until the day when it was finally time to take your sweetie home. You were all great and I hope (know!) you will continue to do great!
Then last but not least: my dearest Venice... I've said it many times before on the several pages of this puppy diary, and I will end this diary saying it again - she has just been an AMAZING mother! What else can I say? Amazing. From the first day after the mating till the last day her offspring was here. Amazing. I don't think I could ever love her more than I already do...
Day 56: early in the morning they all had their very last meal together...

After their four brothers left, the remaining four girls had the time of their lives being able to run freely in the livingroom and the garden; in the evening they were really tired of this great adventure ;-)
Day 57: having only the sisters for one extra day was BIG fun and we enjoyed it a lot!!
