Venice (Rocksett Calling Yoo Hoo)
clearly is on a winning streak... ;-). At the
prestigious Amsterdam Winner she totally blew me
away by again being 1EX in Open Class, followed by
Reserve Best Bitch with RCC/RCACIB! What a
tremendous ending of the year for this wonderful
girl!!

Spent
a lovely weekend with a friend, her Rhodesian
Ridgeback-bitch and
two of my Golden Girls in Kassel (Germany). The
travel was super cosy, the hotel very comfortable
and the two-days show a huge success:

I
was already so happy yesterday with the beautiful
results, but today my girls took themselves to yet
another level: Venice (Rocksett Calling Yoo Hoo) 'just
like that' again won Open Class and hence another
VDH-CC. But it didn't end there: she also became
Best Bitch and so she added a GRC-CC as well as a
CACIB to her already great list. Unbelievable! I
always thought/hoped Venice's impressive movement
would pay off some day and this weekend it
absolutely did: she moved like a bomb and gave it
her very best on both days! My loyal, sweet
darling - I am so proud of her...
Also Dyonne (Rocksett Trip On Love) took it one
step further and this time she got a fantastic 3EX in
Junior Class with again a very nice critique!

What
I was secretly dreaming of has happened: Venice
(Rocksett Calling Yoo Hoo) won Open Class and with
that her second VDH-CC! Her 10 months old daughter
Dyonne (Rocksett Trip On Love) also did fabulous
in Junior Class; totally out of coat and still
really a gawky youngster ;-) but she neatly went
4EX. Well done, girls!!

Assen, Holland |
Participated
in this nice show with mummy Venice (Rocksett Calling Yoo
Hoo) and daughter Dyonne (Rocksett Trip On Love) and both
ladies again did well! Venice was 1st in Working Class and
Dyonne made it to the final 6 in a very strong Junior
Class of 14 entries! She was the very youngest in her
class with just 9 months of age and moreover a week before
the show she decided to leave her lovely, profuse coat at
home; taken all that into consideration this was a very
fine result of Dyonne during her first appearance in
Junior Class!

A
wonderful 4th place for Skylar
(Rocksett Sunny Hypnotiq Breeze)! Also her litterbrother Jivan (Rocksett
Sparkling Hunt Punch, owner Daniëla Koele) took part and
even managed to win the 3rd price!! This is a nation wide
match for
Retrievers only; the exercises are a combination of
obedience and various (cold game) retrieves. So a fantastic
achievement of these
two Rocksett's!

enthusiastic return in the showring after giving birth to
her first babies only 6,5 months ago!!

What
a dream day for the 'Rocksett'-team! Dyonne
(Rocksett Trip On Love) was 3VP in Puppy Class out of 10
entries, being the youngest in her class. Skylar
(Rocksett Sunny Hypnotiq Breeze) got 2EX in Intermediate,
just within an inch of the class winner. And last - but by
all means not least! - was Yacime (JCh. Cheek to Cheek
Beetlejuice) who managed to win a high quality Open Class.
Simply fantastic... So very proud of Yacime and her daughter &
granddaughter!!

a nice, successful day for the two young(est) ladies! "Very feminine with good head proportions. Clean neck and
shoulders. Level topline. Short coupled. Good bend of stifle. Well
handled in a quiet and confident manner". This said the
praising critique of Dyonne (Rocksett Trip On Love) who managed to
get a lovely 3rd place in Baby Class. Skylar (Rocksett
Sunny Hypnotiq Breeze) again did great too and became 2nd in a
strong Junior Class of 17 entries!

KC Dordrecht in Heerjansdam, Holland
|
Never
before a 'Rocksett' went Best In Show, but Skylar (Rocksett Sunny
Hypnotiq Breeze) did it!! It wasn't an easy task to reach this,
because the KC Dordrecht invented a kind of 'knock-out'-system
where in every round only the dogs that were placed 1st or 2nd
could go through to the next round. Skylar did a marvelous job and
in the preliminary
rounds she got four times a 1st place and one time a 2nd place.
Eventually in the final round (the mainring) there were 8
dogs left - of totally 77, all breeds! - where Skylar convincingly became
BIS! What an achievement for this younglady, she isn't even 15
months old!! Skylar's litter brother Bink (Rocksett Scotch Bird
Flyer, owners Jaap & Carolien Sauer) was there too and also
did super! It was the first show for both Jaap and Bink, with this
result: one time a 1st place, one time a 2nd place and one time a
4th place. And if that wasn't enough already... Baby
Dyonne (Rocksett Trip On Love): she ended only 1 (!) round less
far than her auntie Skylar! Dyonne - just 20 weeks old - got three
times a 1st, one time a 2nd and one time a 3rd (behind Skylar). Such
results and such an indescribable day; really one to never ever
forget :-).

Today
was the showdebut of Dyonne (Rocksett Trip On Love), and whát a
debut!! Dyonne became BOB Baby and reserve BBIS (ex aequo,
together with a Bernese Mountain Dog pup). Extremely proud of this
litte girl who experienced the whole showscene in a free, relaxed
and happy way.
Also entered for this show was 14 months old Skylar (Rocksett Sunny Hypnotiq
Breeze); she was 1st in Junior Class, then Best Bitch, next she
beat the male for BOB and in the finals she took Group 2nd. And at
such a young age...!

Both Venice (Rocksett Calling Yoo
Hoo) and her litter sister Yazoo (Rocksett
Cheeks Are Rosy, owners Frank & Lisette Bielschowsky) got
their C-certificate! Yazoo had a wonderful grade list with almost
only 10's (of 10), but Venice too performed superbly given the
fact she only recently has nutured a litter of 8 pups... So very
proud of both girls!

was 1st of the training group! Her litter brother Jivan (Rocksett Sparkling Hunt
Punch, owner Daniëla Koele) also passed with wonderful grades and
went 3rd. Well done both!!!

Pleasantly
with mother, daughter and son in the ring! Unfortunately
the judging was very severe which ofcourse
influenced the participants,
but despite that we had a delightful day with
lovely weather! Yacime (JCh. Cheek to Cheek
Beetlejuice) hadn't been shown for one-and-a-half
year but she again did it in her own superhappy
way and presented a wonderful picture; sadly the
judge thought otherwise since she graded Yacime
with a VG (Open Class). Her daughter Skylar (Rocksett Sunny
Hypnotiq Breeze) competed in Junior Class for
the first time and she got a lovely EX!
Furthermore I handled Skylar's litter brother Troy (Rocksett Sharp Hill
Sunrise, owners Theo
& Anja Heuvelsland) and he too got a VG.
