The 'Rocksett'
kennel was founded in 1995, when Petra
imported the 9 weeks old puppy Ch. Dewmist
Crossmolina (Chanel) from Sweden. At the time she already owned two Golden
males, Gregarious'
Admiral Marigold (Chico)
and his younger halfbrother Gregarious'
Brandnew Adventure
(Yanic). In
1996 the kennel registration took place and in 1998 the first 'Rocksett'
litter was born with Chanel as the proud, caring mother.
Yanic passed away in
2003 at 11,5 years of age. Chico died in 2005, he lived to be
14 years and 6 months old. Both dogs are still
treasured, sadly missed and will never be forgotten...

Ton
and Marianne had their first Flatcoat pup in 2002,
Ch.
Wagging
Tails Rolf Muntz
(Joep). Two years later his halfbrother Wagging
Tails Play Away Please
(Indy) arrived. Petra
and Marianne met for the
first time in 2004 during a walk with their dogs
in the forest of Amersfoort.
Petra complimented Marianne on Joep's great looks
and a short while later she was asked to show
Joep; a true friendship grew and a collaboration
started...
Nowadays we share the
'Rocksett'
praefix* and all our Retrievers are groomed & handled by Petra.
We are very proud of the results: our
foundation bitch Chanel has a beautiful showcareer
and becoming Dutch
Veteran Champion at
almost 11 years of age was a terrific crown! Joep is Dutch,
Luxembourg and German VDH
Champion and
a multiple BOB-
and BIG-winner. Indy needed lots of time to mature and hasn't been in the showring
much, but he too has had some nice results. Our two youngsters
Flair (JCh. Wagging
Tails River Dee) and Yacime (JCh. Cheek to
Cheek Beetlejuice) made an amazing start to their careers, both already are
Juniorchampion
and also gained a Crufts qualification at a young age, as well as their
first CC's.
Their future looks very promissing in show as well as work!
We keep our dogs as
members of the family and they all have great active lifes (long walks,
obedience- and fieldtrialtraining, showing). We are
lucky to be surrounded by woods and swimming water,
so there are many possibilities for our Retrievers to enjoy life to the
fullest!
